Law Clerk

Katie is a Houston native and a 2021 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Biochemistry. She is currently finishing her final semester at Texas Tech University School of Law and will be joining Strohmeyer Law as a full-time Associate Attorney in the fall. As a Law Clerk, Katie enjoys working closely with clients, helping them navigate estate planning and probate with efficiency and care. She finds it most rewarding when clients receive exactly what they need with a quick turnaround, making an often-daunting process feel seamless.

 

Katie’s passion for estate planning and probate was solidified when she handled the probate of her childhood best friend’s grandfather’s estate. Seeing firsthand how the process impacted a family reinforced her commitment to guiding clients through similar situations with compassion. She treats every client like family, ensuring they receive the attention and support they deserve.

 

Outside of work, Katie is a dedicated crafter with a knack for DIY projects, from painting to embroidery. As a kid, she was already showcasing her lawyer-like tendencies—drafting contracts for her friends to ensure they stuck to their candy-sharing agreements. While she
