Nevaeh Hicks

Nevaeh Hicks is a first-generation college student from Chicago, Illinois, currently in her third year at Rice University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology. As a Law Clerk at Strohmeyer Law, she thrives on handling estate planning documents, court filings, and client communications, all while bringing her dynamic energy to the office. She finds great satisfaction in seeing her contributions come to life in larger projects and making the legal process more manageable for clients and the team alike.

 

One of Nevaeh’s proudest career moments has been her transition from clerical tasks to more substantive legal work. Starting with administrative duties, she quickly earned the trust of the team and now plays a hands-on role in drafting estate planning documents and assisting clients directly. Her ability to simplify complex legal concepts and reduce stress for clients is a key part of her approach—after all, fewer emails and smoother processes make for a better experience for everyone.

 

Outside of work, Nevaeh is a puzzle-solving expert, tackling everything from 1,000-piece jigsaws to New York Times crosswords in record time. She also loves experimenting with new recipes (courtesy of TikTok), binge-watching anime, and playing co-op video games with friends. Soon, she’ll have a new companion in her adventures—she’s in the process of adopting a Cane Corso puppy named Spike. Whether in the office or beyond, Nevaeh brings problem-solving skills, enthusiasm, and a commitment to making every challenge just a little bit easier.
